The kit has issues... There are drawings of the Real Fillipe that well are not exactly the same as the kit being discussed, the kit would seem to have 1 too many decks in the stern castle. And the balcony on the real ship seems, in the drawings, to be flatter then the kit.

The San Fellipe is an actual ship,, an 80 gun ship that was built in 1717.

This model is not intended to represent the San Felipe of 1717.
 
These European POB kits sometimes exaggerate features for market appeal; high poop decks, heavy cast metal decorations, etc.
