Not sure if I'm Posting in the right place here...................
.
I’m after a wooden vintage outboard motor boat kit, or even plans.
For RC, around 80 – 100cm.
Yes the model motor I have is an early basic petrol outboard.
I have done some searching, but all the boats I’ve found are inboards.
Something like this, or even more basic, but this is a full size boat.
Any help will be appreciated

There was once from Aeronaut the so called "Forelle", but a relativ simple RC-model kit

But you are right - it is really hard to find kits with outboarder motor

there are several build logs here on SOS dealing with kit built INBOARD speedboats. I don’t build them personally, I just admire the workmanship. I also don’t know which kits might be available to you in Australia.

However! If you could find one that you like and is large enough to support that heavy motor, it should not be difficult to adapt the hull to take an outboard. The hull forms are very similar. Both are planing hulls that require wide flat bottoms aft. It should not be difficult to eliminate the propeller shafts and struts and to modify the transom.

I hope that you find something.

A couple more ideas. Here in the US there is an active RC model hydroplane racing scene. I stumbled onto a race, while visiting my son in Indiana. These events are crazy. The boats are large and fast enough to do serious damage to nearby spectators if the operator loses control. Anyhow, you might look them up on the internet; Google: model hydroplane racing. Not what you’re looking for but related. The outboard versions appear to be in the neighborhood of 1 meter long.

The American ship model kit company Dumas offers a number of model boats intended for RC. They offer a number of Chris Craft boats like the mahogany speedboat that you show above. IMHO their kits are expensive and shipping, customs, etc to Australia would cost you an arm and a leg. The models are also too small to float that big motor. But! They also sell plans; $6.00 US plus sending them to Australia. If you are equipped to scratch build from plans then you could use one of these plans as a starting point.
