hey Sweden. No doubts, that all wooden planks will have vton treated. I general(when building) made complete the hull first (before adding decks etc) when the hull was finished, I treated the hull with my own mix -mixture of white glue plus. This mixture was smirred all over the Hull, to seal all the tine holes in the planks-wood-and seal all imperfection. the problems arrive when the the mixture is dry to sand it off. When done well you now have a nice surface to paint. Later you can paint Gunports on all deck associations. General this does not give any problems, only be careful with the masking tape fit.
