Maybe posting in wrong place but thought I would get some answers here, where most members check in,,,,Question I wonder if anyone has tried ARTISTS PENCILS for colors, have a project that my old hands can not paint with brush, I thought of using artists pencils for coloring in the small areas, it is on veener, any help would be greatly appreciated. THANKS Don Farr

Hi Don. I have never tried pencils but I guess you could do it as long as they are quite soft. For larger areas you might try chalks - go on quite heavy and then wipe of with a rag; very effective for a weathered look.
