Hello. Great result. I, too, am building Phantom. Struggling with how to approach coppering the hull. Fear it is beyond my skill level. How did you go about it? Thank you.

I have built the Phantom but didn't use the slipway, and the ship was caught in sever storage dust storm and items stacked against it in storage and damaged the masts, now the hull sits with all masts removed awaiting me to re-mast and rig her. Then into proper storage display, maybe like yours.

I have not done any coppering yet, but I expect to do some on a future build. I have the same trepidation as you have voiced. I found some (what appears to be) good advice/instruction in the instructions for Model Shipways cross-section of the Constitution (Pg 41). Perhaps you might find it to be helpful.
