Hull & deck completed this winter, and is now "on hold" till autumn!

The boat is a model of Pilot boats used in Norway from early 1800 and up to about 1920.
Originally they were buildt without a deck, but as the number of pilots that perished at sea increased alarmingly, it became (around 1850-ties) mandatory to build them with a full deck.
Over the many years in building and use, the hull itself never changed, but the rigging and sails were under constant development. In order to improve maneuvering and speed.

It's a simple ship to build, with few details. But the clinker built hull (think that the term) gave some challenges with the planks curving i 2 dimensions. Had to make templates in cardboard paper, one for each plank.
And then, 1800 plugs.

Thanks for your nice comment.
Plans were purchased some time ago from the norwegian Maritim Museum.
They came with both a topview and a sideview with the waterlines lined up, which made it fairly easy to form the ribs.
Thanks for your interest, and have a nice day.
