I didn't plank the first layer properly now I have a 1/4 inch gap part number 39 on the albatros 12500 by occre any suggestions how can i fix this thank you,

you are talking about this blue area, right?
you said this is the first layer of planking and it looks like the ends of the planks are too far out so i do not think you want to "fill' that area.
i would need to see a side view to determine of the planks are too far out from the stem.
i assume this is a plank on bulkhead so at this point i would cut out the planks back to the first bulkhead and fill the bow with a block. Then shape the bow for your second layer of planking to cover the block.

I see what Ur saying, what about filling in with wood filler and run the second planking to meet stem what do you think? thanks

I believe that is why he wants a picture from the side of the bow, to see where the planks end.

that correct there may not be enough of the stem

the green are the bulkheads the blue arrows are the rabbit line. If you 1st layer of planking is at or past the rabbit line the second layer will be too far on the stem.
if this is the case then cut the planks back to the first bulkhead and like in this hull the pink area is a block shaped to the bow

yes that will work as long as you have enough room to the leading edge of the stem

Dave gives great advice. There are planking expansion drawings on the RMG Collections website that you may find beneficial. Two key points are that the garboard should not run too far up the stem and the planks need to taper in width from the dead flat to the stem so every plank ends inside the rabbet at the stem (barring use of a drop strake). There are a number of posts here at SoS that go into some of the details in marking off the width at each frame/bulkhead that will be a guide to the width of each plank along their length as well as the four part You Tube video by Chuck Passaro.
. Planking is tricky but with practice it gets less scary and a bit easier.
