Finished the standing rigging.Imposed everything ratlines.Installed the rudder.Toned decor.Removed the strong Shine.The hull View attachment 171465View attachment 171466View attachment 171467View attachment 171468View attachment 171469View attachment 171470 length in 50 scale is about 700 mm.

This is a beautiful build with consistent quality stem to stern. Beautiful blocks! What is the source for my own orders???
One nice thing about square riggers is that bending the sails on the same tack is easier to see than a problem that I just created for myself in a period of too tight focus and determination to complete some rigging on a gaff rigged schooner . . . . I had permanently attached the sheets to turning blocks, belaying pins, and covering faux hanks on the opposite tack than those of the top sails. Unless I cut almost everything off trying to minimize damage, and re-rig, I will have backwinded the fore-sails with the top sails. Dammnnn! And I wanted to get this finished to begin my next learning build, a strip canoe, before the real project for me. . .Bluenose 3/16 scale.
I knew the present build of completion was primarily a learning experience but don't like the actual present outcome.

On this construction site small changes. I started rigging. Imposed blocks, tried on the masts. Waiting for the missing details decor from Corel. A lot of other work, rigging takes a lot of time.

Incredible build details... It's very interesting to see how much some good plans can help to speed along the early parts of the process. As a newcomer I suppose I should seriously consider working from the best plans I can find, especially to keep from getting frustrated. Cheers!

I haven't seen xebec/sciabecco chainwales on the outside of the Board yet.

Hi, everybody.A few changes to my model.Manufactured and installed pumps.I made 10 oars, tied 5 pieces each, and set them on the sides of the boat.Made frames for cannonballs.6 cannonballs each.Behind the hatch on the main deck, I installed 3 large barrels.There are still barrels.I want to fill the aft deck space.It looks kind of empty.Somewhere in the Internet I saw a photo of a model of shebeki with barrels installed on the decks.I don't remember the site,I can't find it.I tried on the sails on the model.Sewn well,but for triangular sails not sewn one extreme to foot.Something like that.
