A new build has began, the Port Jackson has captured my attention as it's a mixed build with hull and deck that can be fully covered or with the central part in admiralty style; so it leaves plenty of room for the modeler to unleash his creativity.
The material is pearwood and the hole kit (by Dry Dock Models) looks really well done.
Still working on the building berth.

Have fun with the model Alessandro. Do you have a full image of the model will look like when finished?

Right this;)

Thanks @zoly99sask for the links. Look likes a nice model.

Some more pics. I already made the finishing for this part because once also the beams will be in place it would be hard to do it.
For this model I decided to not do any kind of aging treatment, I'm loving the natural timber of pearwood and I want it to shine with its own light.

Hello Allesandro, beautiful result. What did you use for your finish? It appears to be an oil...

She is a beauty! I see more and more locator boards for the frames being used. This is simple and really avoids framing errors. Something to think about even for a scratch build. Looking forward to your progress.
