Good customer service is often rare and I wanted to recognize a great example of how it should work. Last November I purchased Amati’s 1/200 Bismarck kit (1614) from Premier Ship Models in the UK. The model arrived at my home in San Diego before Christmas in perfect condition. I did the unboxing after the holidays and discovered that out of all the gazillions of parts in the kit, one of the small plastic parts was missing. I contacted the US rep for Premier (Bill), and he relayed the issue to the home office. They in turn contacted Amati and the part was delivered to my house today in perfect shape. It is a pleasure to deal with companies that take good care of their customers. The quality of the whole kit is outstanding and I am just finishing up with the second planking. A joy to build.
