Prince de Neufchâtel rigging

Wow! These are monster projects! What kind of time investment in the aggregate of the models pictured here are we looking at? Weeks? (Assuredly.) Months? (No doubt.) Years? (I'm betting on it.) Redface
Impressed!

A year on constellation, about a year and half on Constitution (in middle of build I had a 15 month tour in Afghanistan. The Prince De Neufchâtel was a bit less than a year as COVID let me stay home to work on it. I’m working on 2 models the Fair American and Rattlesnake.

Covid time let me finish three. Not nearly as elaborate as yours. You undoubtedly have laser focus. I love your models!
Glad you got back from Afghanistan in one piece. (An assumption that covers a wide range of circumstances.) I hope all your people there did too.

I likewise am working with an old PDN kit. Instuctions very vague about mast, spar and boom assembly. Likewise rigging instructions are very poor. What I see above will be helpful. But I am unsure about tapering the masts (where and to what diameter) and it appears they need to be squared to accept mast caps. Likewise how to build foremast platform and topgallant doubling and cross trees, And cheeks... Any instructions recommendations welcome.
