PRINTZ FRIDERICH (1761 - 1780) - danish 70-gun Ship of the Line - 1:48 by Karl I. Malcha

Hello,
sorry for the delay, but I had a rather painful struggle with my dentist in the last days who wanted to gain a deep insight in one of my molars. Now the first round is done ...
Many thanks for your birthday greetings. I had a fine day with my wife, children and grandchildren. In my age the past is longer than the future, but I am still looking forward like the lazy little guy at the right, my running projekt, two small Chapman barges. I have allowed myself a variation of the original chapman design at the left.

To Alessandro ROMA: Perhaps you can call the "Pr.Fr." an admiralty- or Navy-Board-style Model. The definition is not quite clear in my eyes. (See Lavery, Stephens, "Ship Models" or Franklin, "Navy Board Ship Models" for example).
Some features of the navy bord models of the second third of the 18. century inspired me and so the "Pr.Fr." is a kind of eclecticism.
Many greetings
Karl Ingwer

Kaere Poul,
thank you for your inquiry. Having only one bottle of the rare "PF-Rum" still in my posession ( and she has a sentimental value for me) I recommend to mail to the Laesö Museum directly. I think they will help you. And have a look to your direct messages.
Many greetings
Karl
