Here is new modeler who may someday move to bigger models in other types of media:
This is the "USS GAYLE" and was the winner of the "Mini Mayors" award in an art contest held recently at a middle school in Elon, NC. It was built by an eighth grader out of paper, plastic sheet and other materials. I hope this will be, if not the first, one of many models this young crafter will build. This was no quick build and it has an interesting amount of detail making me think some rather serious thought and research when into it.
