I plan on doing this hobby for at least another 20years.. b4 get too old..... and the oldr I get the faster it comes.. one thing young people just dont seem to grasp
It;s the only hobby i've found that is rewarding

heavent heard from trident alert for a long time
The kit has been released, went (and still) in successful sale around the globe. He occasionally posts in our Alert build group, answering the questions we may have.. Did you join the group yet? If you really want to know about the Alert, you should! There are about 6 active logs posting. Do you need a hand to join the group? No need to have the kit presence nor the log.

Thanks for your query, Adiefenbach. Unfortunately, we don't have any information regarding the functioning website. We are aware, that Trident Studio has been moved to a larger facility to accommodate Alert kit demand as well as process new\future development kits. While the move, some of the timber was lost and some destroyed and he was working to restock lost timber boards. Please bear in mind, that this is most likely a 2 ~3 man operation and requires some effort to fulfill our demand of about 130 kits.
We will be in contact with Trident and keep all you folks updated. Meanwhile, the sales continue with direct bank transfer 5 members in a time.

My mill is a Sherline. You absolutely cannot do better. They have a huge catalog of machines and gadgets to go on them.
Check the website at sherline.com.

The Proxxon M70 mill is perfect for modeling and at a very reasonable price around $375. It may not be machinist quality, but it doesn’t cost anywhere near those. you don’t need that level of mill for hobbyist ship modeling.
