Hi guys,

Im close to turning the masts for my 1/150th Nina and want an idea on how the mainstays were really tied off at the
hull. The kit has no real instructions on it and Im pretty sure they weren't tied to rings on the deck. Im thinking more
along the lines of being belayed to horizontal cleats on the bulwarks stantions.

Any thoughts on this?

Thank you,
Clair

a very good drawing set with 3 A1 sheets of the Nina is available from a friend Eugen Troppmann in Germany

contact him via

He is a specialist for this three vessels, so maybe he can help you already with some information

Thank you so much guys, that helps a ton. You are right @DonRobinson in this scale a kevel would be way too thin to handle
or even just make. I'll look over allthe info @Uwek gave as well but as small as this thing is I'll be lucky to pull off normal
cleats making them from scratch... LOL

Thanks again, I really appriciate the help :)

Edit: Tried to make kevels by spelling cleats with a K, didnt work so good.....
