Questions, A new POF project after my Le Rochefort fail.

Instructions are not a strong point with the Hayling Hoy but the manufacturer is very responsive and there are a lot of build logs for this kit
Thanks yes
I would set my eyes on what I want and not bother about price. If you are happy with the box and the ship in general then go for it.
Can I say something about scratch building? In basic general terms, in my opinion just trying to understand follow the plans is difficult much less trying to build a POF from just 2D drawings. And let me say that I even have a college degree in drafting and design. That just means that in general naval architecture is an art (drafting) within itself.
Donnie. I scratched the Blandford section and succeeded. It was large scale and I enjoyed it. The Le Ro just threw me and shortcuts I tried because I didn’t want to do certain things the right way caused the demise. Good clear instructions with a kit are paramount I think. Working from assembly drawings only isn’t ideal. I’m still looking. Seems there’s not too many in larger scales I have interest in. I’m open to POF or POB. Price is key right now. Semi retired but still work part time. We don’t work much in winter so spending a lot of $$ is out of the question.
