Hello Carl and Mary. I am also building the St. Roche but life seems to have got in the way! I am currently putting the railings on but have not worked on the kit for a while..

You're welcome! I want to try either the Norden or St Roch. I can't make up my mind which to build

This is my first boat project. I found parts of it quite challenging, mainly because I'm a novice and I found the instructions are lacking. It was a struggle to identify parts and where they belonged. But thanks to other SOS members, who had great advice as well as a lot of photos, I managed to reach the finish line.

I'm just at the planking stage and progress is slow because of unrelated commitments. But thanks to Bruce Ives and now you, I have great photos for reference. I'm in Ottawa where we have the Capital Marine Modelers Guild, which has very helpful members.
