Merhaba... "Golden hind" kitinin son aşamasındayım. İp çekme sırasında 1. resimde j18-20 yazan kısmı anlayamadım... Üstten gelen tek bir iplik var, ipliklerin yeri 2. resimde ve j18 ve j 20 farklı yerlerde ama tek bir iplik çekiliyor. J18-j20 ne anlama geliyor? Açıklayabilir misiniz?

Thank you but in the first picture there is only one thread... Aren't two threads needed to connect the front and back poles?

Because there is no numbers on other parts my assumption is that they made one picture for two lines. Because they are running same way between yard and mast.
so instead making one picture for J18 and other for J20 they marked them on one picture.
If you making a fore yard follow J18 markings -one thread and tide it off where is j18 marking on the hull. When making main mast yard use the same picture but use j20 markings and tide in on the deck where J20 is showed.
other words two different lines on one picture.

Mayflower lower yards were probably rigged with ties or a version of jeers. The rigging in picture in post #1 above is similar to what was used over 200 years after the Mayflower sailed, that is starting about 1830. Your model, your choice.
Pictures below are from James Lees' Masting and Rigging book.

Thank you for the explanation... I think I'm starting to understand now... J18 is for the bow connection and J20 is for the grand mast connection.
