Almost makes me wonder what the ships future will be, yeah it was made for a purpose in the museum. SO does it being a military/government pet project mean it has a future?
Look at all the other tall ships made since 1980. Some group comes up with a project, get funding, build a ship, do a celebrity voyage, and go broke and sell it as soon as possible. Large numbers of projects were started here in the US that never got finished. Remember a steel hulled frigate replica that never got beyond building a floatable hull.
