unfortunately I was walking up the stairs with my arms full and my box of people hit the oak floors. Worse casualty was the queen…off with her head! The 12 y.o. Boy broke his leg and shattered the brim of his hat. But I pushed on…with paint as I wanted to see how they would turn out. My first time painting figures…satisfying but very tedious work. You will want to use a very fine tipped brush.IMG_6909.jpeg

Your examples look good and painting is done well for first time.

My only suggestion on final versions is to help tone the "fresh paint" look of people at work is when done, add a very thin wash of grey, or tan or some color to help highlight details and cracks and tone done the bright colors.

Good suggestions, however the 3 guys are for a Royal Yacht from 1750’s. Guard, Captain of the Guard and King. The Queen would have been there too but she lost her head in a crash with the oak flooring
