I just picked up Revell's 1:72 HMCS Snowberry corvette on eBay and the seller conveniently forgot to mention that the instructions were missing! I have looked forward to this kit for a long time....so imagine my disappointment upon opening the box. Are there any kindred souls out there who can direct me to plans source?
I would be forever grateful.
Kind regards,
Dave

I have the original 1/72 version kit (Matchbox). Would photos of those instructions help or are you determined to get the Revell ones?

Thank you very much for the offer, however, I found an online source for plans and downloaded all 48 pages!
Try Galaxy Plans....it's a hell of a service.

Good. I’m relieved not to have to do all that photography. :D

I hope you will post a build log. Now that I’ve reacquainted myself with the kit, I’m very tempted to build the thing.

The box was awfully grimy from decades spent in attics but yesterday I polished it up and made it smell nice enough for the living room.

I won’t be able to resist the lure of that painting for long…

What a fantastic painting, I'd love to have it on my wall! Build away!.....we will all look forward to seeing the result!

I am afraid that my Snowberry will be built "out of the box" as photo-etch is now unobtaium.....I shall give it my best!

I have never liked photo etch - too tiny for my big hands - too sharp - too FLAT! But that doesn’t mean it’s impossible to enhance a 1/72 kit. There’s plastic, card, rod, stretched sprue, bits from the spares box, extruded sections. Then we have wood which we are familiar with here. Also metal wire, rod etc. Various bits of junk salvaged from electrical equipment. Aftermarket designed for other models such as railings, stanchions, turnbuckles, ammunition. Then there’s creative paintwork, crew, diorama…

Out of the box? Nah, make it uniquely yours. :D

Don’t forget to start your build log in the correct part of the forum. Build logs for plastic kits. I’ll see you there soon.
