I am building a second Connie after our former cat destroyed the first one. On SS, (kits available for sale are a mite expensive) so when one my friends heard what happened he gave me an unfinished opened kit he had for years that he was not interested in.
The masts are in. The sails that came with his kit were dry and brittle and cracked and not usable.
I would like to built her in port with furled sails. Does any one know where I can get rigging directions for furled sails, and what would make a good furled sail? I would imagine she only had her yards in port with no studding sail booms.
