Hi, i'm getting close to finishing my San Felipe and just wondered on the correct way to mount the flags, directly on to the post or on a rope with block and tackle at the top of the mast so the flag could be lowered?
If so where would the two ends be fixed, somewhere on the highest crow nest ?
What do people also do regards keeping in shape as if it were blowing around in the wind, I heard someone mention they stitch a thin brass wire in the top of the sail and bend accordingly?
Any help or photos would be great thanks.
