I got a bunch of items from Dry-Dock Models and Parts I like to review within the next couple of weeks, starting with their premium boxwood blocks.

The overall look is a good compromise between the different contemporary drawings of blocks and looks especially great when rigged.
Perfect and crisp in shape, without laser marks these are the best boxwood blocks you can get.

Much better then these clumsy pseudo CNC blocks from others.

Together with the Master Korabel Blocks I really like too it's great to have a wider range of block styles now. I can select from, depending on the vessel to build.
I like that

Next I like to show are the boxwood cleats I got. Hard to capture in all detail as they are so small but I guess I can tell the story.

No need to sand in shape, no need to remove laser char, just use them.

The only thing I miss to absolute perfection would be a drilled hole in the middle. But that might be just me :)

Yes, I am using dry-dock blocks, cleats, deadeyes exclusively on my ENDEAVOUR build. I have had a number of comments on FB on how good the block look. The only issues I have had was a 3mm boxwood block that split in two when I pulled the strapping too tight but at that size I should not have gorilla'd it. I have been using the 3 and 2mm blocks for my 1/64 cannon rigging.

I got sent some nice rope samples too, cotton 0,6 mm & 1,0 mm, light & dark. All as it should right handed (Z-Laid). Hard to get the colors but here we go with some images.

I really like this cotton rope. It's tight laid, good quality and i didn't think it would be so less fuzzy.

cheers

There are a few scale rope producers around. These do look nice.
I exclusively use Ropes of Scale though as they have both Cotton and Polyester in black, brown and tan in all sizes including cable laid. I guess when you're on a good thing you tend to stick to it.
