Here is a YouTube half hour of sailing one of the last square rigged merchant ships filled with views and explanations of sailing the vessel. Good for understanding some of what we may have to simulate in our models. . . particularly for furling sails.

Brilliant Rich. Thanks for putting it up. My first book about sailing, which I bought when I was 16, was Men and Ships Around Cape Horn. I've loved it ever since.
 
Yesterday there was a nice documentation on TV (NDR) about Peking being restored in Germany for the Hamburg Hafenmuseum (harbor museum) "The three lifes of Peking". She will be the Highlight of the museum.
