Leider habe ich nicht deine Fähigkeiten bezüglich Schnitzereien.
Ich habe das Modell auch nur wegen der schönen Schnitzarbeit gebaut,
auch wenn ich solche niemals selbst herstellen kann.

Karl... I am always amazed about the perfect finish of all what you do. This cannon is amazing.

Hey Karl, practice makes perfect is also an English saying. I wonder where the root of this comes from. My Dutch friend would probably take credit. 
I agree 100 % but not all, independently of how much they practice, are able to achieve the Master Level you have.
Not all athletes get the Olimpic gold metal.... and most of them practice and train for that day like crazy.

Karl, although I'm very late to your log I have to praise your amazing workmanship and artistry! Absolutely masterful! I'm preparing to start the Panart Royal Caroline and (among other things) it was very helpful to see what you did with the carving set.
