ROYAL CAROLINE 1749 M: 1/48 by Jeronimo [COMPLETED BUILD]

Google Translate.
Hello Carl. I also build Carolina. I’m going to open my topic later. I do not have a complete set of drawings and a little theoretical material, and information from an Internet is controversial. Google translation is often incorrect, so I prepared a drawing with options. Please tell me the cross-sectional shape of the board in the picture? I think this is option B.

Hi Alex,
Do you mean Royal Caroline or Carolina? These are two different yachts, Carolina was the predecessor of the Royal Caroline but very similar. In the book Anatomy of the Ship this history is clarified.

Hello Alexander.

Yes, B is right.
In the appendix three pictures ,
the plan drawings show no more.
Send me your private email adress,
I will send you the complette set of plans as a PDF file.

regards Karl

Please, show us pictures of the construction
of your model her.

Thanks Carl! I thought there were more section plans for Carolina. It turns out that I have a complete set of drawings.
Sincerely, Alexander.

Hallo Karl,
many thanks for the up-date - looking very good
Good looking planking and nail pattern
- > I really have to visit you to see your models

Many thanks to all for the kind comments and likes.

The mirror, as well as on both sides window bay window
with its carvings I have already finshed, with the oriels still missing
carvings / figures attached later.
I have decided not or color this model, or only black/brown
wood stain for the moldings and gold color for the numeros crowns.
The model will look a bit different from the really beautiful and colorful
models of Maarten or Doris, etc.
First off all, I will start with the interior design of the model.

Love this log Karl! Just what I need.
Have also purchased the carved kit so its great to get you opinion of it.
Like you, I thought there seemed to be missing bits so It will be helpful to watch you solve the problems (I'm a way off that stage at the moment)
Looking forward to the rest of the build!
