Continued with the aft mast, made the stays and further rigging, also made the navigation buoys.

Now we can start Now we can start with the antennas and the remaining navigation lights in the masts and lines for the signal flags.

Rigging and antennas are ready, after some searching, thinking and studying of various photos, I made the antennas as follows.

Only the rigging for the davits of the auxiliary boats, the gangways and the necessary small details remain. And then, finally, the flags can be placed.

We are almost there but not quite.

Finished more or less all the points from my to do list that Wrote during this build.

One of the last on the list is placing the flags, (done)

Last point: finishing the display case and stand (still open)

still working on the last part.

Grand ship for sure, I like the look of hull and anti-fouling red on bottom, gives the upper hull nice contrast.

Congratulations for finishing the model - a great model and in my opinion a real masterpiece.
I really hope that we will get once a complete photo session of all the details close ups, and different perspectives of the fine model.
You made an amazing detailed model and I have learnt a lot of thing wtahcing your log and your explanations - Thank you for this.
And?
Any plans for the next project? Hope to see also a detailed building log ..... it is always a pleasure to follow

I am currrently working at the SMS Scharnhorst too. I guess it is the same "kit". Can you pls tell me the colour code (maybe RAL) of the differnt greys you used for hull and superstructure?

Thanks for your kind words.
Its indeed some years ago, SMS Scharnhorst and SMS Emden made their trip to Europe again,(traveled (in a container) the Atlantic Ocean..but made it save,
