Hi everyone,I'm Sal in central Florida....I started building airplanes when very young the wooden ones with frames, and I flew them. I started building a ship the Cutty Shark....I had to carve the hull out of a solid chunk of wood......later in life we moved to florida and it got mashed in transit....I've built a train from scratch, and like working with wood......I've made miniature furniture, different pieces....since then, I got the bug to build model ships. The selection was really great ,I started to build a small HMS Victory ,then a schooner called The Harvey from Mass....then the Beagle from Occre....loved it....then I built the Amerigo Vespucci from Occre and now I started building the SAN Filipe again from Ocree. I'll attach photos ....any comments are well appreciated....I'm a starter with this hobby but I really like building ships.....I'm 86 with a BD in April....so everyone be kind ...LOL

To anyone interested in building the model of the legendary ship Fram, I made an open-box review a few weeks ago. The full kit review coming next week, stay tuned.

Really nice job on the models. Did you build the display cases from scratch or kit? Looking for a display case for my Syren.
