Hola a todos
My name is Antonio Jose, I am a veteran in this hobby, despite this I continue to learn every day and I hope to continue doing so in this forum, also contributing everything that is in my power.

I am currently finishing an Ancre model, El Leudo. and I have completed a few, among which are several Spanish frigates, Diana, Flecha and Santa Mónica. In addition, a brig based on original plans from the Naval Museum of Madrid, caravels and a few other models.

Welcome from the Finger Lakes of NY. That's a beautiful model. The case is also well done. Did you do the veneer work in the base as well? Nice compass rose.

Antonio,

Bienvenido a SOS ! This is a great site. You will be amazed at how much you will learn here, as well as by how helpful everyone is.
The level of expertise is amazing-many museum quality models are built by our members.
I was at the Madrid Naval museum last October and was very impressed. A lot of the models are contemporary, built by Spanish modelers and of excellent quality-very impressive. I spent all day at the museum-it was empty...
Muchos Saludos
