That's still only $3.27 per figure. That's a pretty good deal. The time and effort put into designing all of these would be considerable. He deserves to make some money. Compare these prices to Vanguard Models figures and they are a bargain. He suggest offering a smaller set in the future. Maybe that will be more affordable. They do look good though.

Here's a link to Vanguard's figures
Ohh... These are much more elaborate figures! No wonder they are more expensive. I looked more carefully at the set offered by woodysmodelworks. I do not like the sculpture of the figures. Bodies are in unnatural positions. The legs of some are way too huge for a real human being. Basically I am not impressed with figures appearance. For me it is no go for now unless they redesign the figures. I will wait. I have no problem. My Victory still has 10 years till completion.

I have never added figures to my models, but this set has convinced me, especially for the high number and diversity of subjects. I think they will be a great addition to the Victory I am building and I ordered them today. The quality, given the scale, seems sufficient to me and the price certainly reasonable. Thanks for the report!

Certainly, as soon as I get them. They are now in the Royal Mail system and I expect them to be delivered next week

The set of figures arrived this morning. At first glance, the figures seem quite accurate, and given the 1:78 scale, it would certainly be difficult to obtain products that appear more detailed upon a normal visual inspection. Anyway, I'm attaching a few photos so everyone can judge for themselves. Once the beach vacation is over, the real challenge will be painting them, and only then will we be able to see if the result is acceptable!1000014375.jpg1000014376.jpg1000014377.jpg1000014378.jpg1000014379.jpg1000014380.jpg1000014381.jpg

Enjoy the painting… reminds me of my youth and painting my D&D figures. I actually painted the finer details with a toothpick, on dot at a time.

You will of course have to cut of the print plate after you have painted them. I think the scale looks fine.
