I am amazed at the quality of your model. I was inspired to resume my interest in the Effie Morrissey. Her amazing career and the fact that she is still around make her an excellent subject. I also downloaded the drawings from the Library of Congress. I am trying now to generate a surface model of the hull in Rhinoceros. I have had some issues with reconciling the Section, Plan and Profile view. There are also issues with the table of offsets not agreeing with the lines plans. It may be that there are photographic distortions that make scaling the lines difficult. The offsets are photographically taken from the outside of the planking rather than the frames, as typical.
The story of the Ernestina nee. Effie M Morrissey is the subject of a three issue series in Wooden Boat Magazine. (Issues 270-272) The rebuild is a wonder of nautical preservation/restoration. There were some liberties taken with regard to the correction of age related defects and increased safety. I would dearly love to see a copy of the as-built lines to see the changes made.
Anyway it is an interesting enterprise as we share the name, Morrissey. (no known relation to Captain Morrissey)
Thank you for your inspiring build log. Who knows, I may follow in your footsteps someday.
