Scientific Thermopylae

Good morning Dave. Wow, this is wonderful. I am attempting the same thing with a Bounty refurbishment. My issue is I only have 3 years of scrap not 35.ROTF.Boy if I can get mine half as good as you achieved here it would make my year. Cheers Grant

Thankyou Grant

My next build is going to be the Bounty. I'm puting together the materials right now and hope to start in a few weeks. For some reason I just can't leave my work bench empty for any length of time. My wife is so understanding of my adiction that spending 4 to 5 hours a day in my workshop is no problem or maybe after 50 years of marriage it's a wise trade off from the bar down the street.

Well BUILT. WELLl DONE; MATE
I BUILD BOTH tHERMOPYLIE AND CUTTE SATK -BOTH IN PLASTIC about 1955-1960. It was before wooden kits came to the market. everything was of plast even the Deadeyes and the links between them. Had no idea what they were, until one of my eldest uncles told me. he has sailed a few years with Clipper Shiops-- between Europe and Australia and bed down to Argentina too. up to the right Cutte Sark (plast) and Nordcap (Wood) end 1974. My wife and 6 month daughter
