Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. Now partially retired I'm preparing myself for my first build, Occre HMS Beagle. Looking at all the great build logs on here, and pouring over the AOTS book which I bought about 15 years ago, when I think there was only a Mamoli Beagle! I grew up loving Airfix models, but in more recent years have only built toy wooden castle for my kids and a small scale model of Mount Everest.
