Retired and getting back into this awesome hobby. Already received lots of help here and look forward to sharing and learning more. Bought an older Scottish maid 1837 kit on marketplace. Might be missing some instructions and photos. Spent some time reviewing and studying all before I start. One instruction says bend copper wire 47 to shape as shown for transom decoration and fix with ca glue. Cannot find anything anywhere in instructions plans or prints or in any pics here or elsewhere that show what this is spider to be. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Look forward to learning and sharing in this group.
