I need to start at the beginning of my dream to build the Cutty Sark. My first introduction to her was asked a US soldier stationed in Germany in the 1960's with some spare time and I built the Revel Cutty Sark without really knowing what I was doing. The rigging was very oversized... well, you know what I mean. Twenty plus years l had the privilege to visit Cutty Sark at her dry dock in England. Walked her decks and fell in love with her.
I was able to purchase Mr. Camblels wonderful scale drawings and left them on the shelf for more years. In 2016 I purchased a plank on bulkhead model of the Cutty Sark from Artesania Latina and was smitten.
