Hello sailors.

Because I couldn't decide which ship to choose for the next project. Given that I have little experience, I will order a set from Occra when I get the money, of course;).

Well, let's start. While I'm waiting, I ordered a cheap ship again. Benjamin W. Latham 1:87. the package arrived quickly, but they are already at the beginning of the problem. the package has not arrived in its entirety and there is already a lot of improvisation at the beginning. But nothing for that, at least we're learning ;). Well, not to write too much, look at the pictures and comment. I will be grateful for any comments and advice :)

Hello.
Today we continue with making the deck, which is quite difficult because unfortunately I didn't get these parts in the package. I started with a rough construction from thin cardboard, and then of course with wooden boards to make it look the way it should. I have the back part of the deck waiting for me and of course a lot of sanding to make everything nice and flat.

But I have to thank Allan for all the help and moral support in finding the next projects.

Enjoy your day.

You are making great progress with this challenging little kit. Well done!

I once tried something similar, also from China and found it far too difficult for me to build.

It is quite challenging, especially if you look at the quality and precision of the plan:D. The first project was the schooner halcon and it was also quite a challenge. Thanks for the comment

Hello.
I haven't heard from you in a long time. The project is progressing nicely, I wanted to throw it in the trash a couple of times. A lot of things need to be finished or done, because unfortunately I didn't get them in the set. It's going slowly, but I'm fighting to finish it, because I think it's a good test for a bigger project in the future. Hope you like it and see you soon.

Hello.
After a long time, I'm reporting with a little progress. I finally finished the deck and installed the equipment. I had a couple of corrections because it could not be painted due to smeared glue. I also started making the masts and I think everything looks pretty good considering that there were no parts for that in the kit. So this is all done by heart and by feel. That's it for now, but now I have to make the sails, and I'm worried about how everything will work out.
See you soon.
