Ships of the AMERICAN REVOLUTION and their models
by Harold M. Hahn

The book tells the history of 3 American and 4 British ships during the American Revolution. The book is well researched. It also show plenty of pictures of the seven models of these ships Harold Hahn built. The models of the first six are described briefly. The last half of the book is about the 74-gun HMS Alfred and the description of the construction of the model. Model builders would enjoy reading the book and looking at the nice pictures (all in black-and-white). It is not a step-by-step model building book for beginners. It is probably more suited for scratch model builders looking for ideas and inspiration.

Ships showed and explained in different Chapters:
HMS Roebuck, 44-gun frigate
HMS Druid, ex- Briliant
Continental frigate Hancock, 32-gun
Oliver Cromwell / Beaver Prize
Continental Ffrigate Confederacy, 36-gun
HMS Pelican, ex- Frederick
HMS Alfred, 74-gun
