I’m back from a month abroad and have some time out of work so I’ll be trying to upload more regular progress updates.

I’ve almost completely filled the hull with planks and plan to re-cover the decks with lime strips also because thanks to a paint related accident I managed to ruin part of it, and I don’t like the look of the printed decks overall.

I’m happy with the planking on the hull for the most part, but the hull closing could use work. I had to use a lot of small oddly shaped cuts of wood to close it fully due to my inexperience and lack of a proper plank cutting tool, next time I’ll be more methodical.

There’s still some little gaps in the hull to fill, and the rear gallery windows need re-doing but currently I’m focussing on replacing the printed paper decks with wooden ones, starting with the forecastle.
