Short drill

Few weeks ago there were discussions about short drills. People were making their own tools using some small electric motors and collets. Very nice ideas, but still the length of tool is something 6...9 cm.
So how about this new angle drilling/milling machine from Proxxon? With that it is possible to reach very awkward and tight locations.

Interesting tool.

The shanks on most bits can be cut shorter to make it able to get into even tighter spaces. Most of the holes we drill are less than 1/2" deep anyway.

I am using a standard Proxxon drill with a right angle attachment. It is also 60 mm in length. A bit noisy but does the job.
