With my latest build I was thinking hard what kind of clamps to use with hull internal planking. Tested a couple of ideas, but this simple and cheap one proved to work best.
A dozen wooden clothes pegs were hijacked from Admiral's storage, drilled with 1,7 mm drill, and pieces of toothpicks inserted into holes. And voila, clamps were ready.

Sounds like great tool, as long as the Admiralty doesn't notice the stock shortage in laundry room.
I was taking care of that by immediately purchasing replacements when shops opened their doors in the morning.

Good thinking Moxis; thanks for the idea and design and experimentation.

Sometimes it is as rewarding to realize that a different way of doing things may be improvised, as in the application. Creative thinking adapting existing things to new uses is around us all of the time. . . we just don't make the connections. PT-2
