Small Sailboat, Unknown Manufacturer

After I posted this, I learned that this is called the Shellback Dingy, though I don't know who made the kit.
This boat was not as easy as it looks, and I struggled with it, but I was still new to boat building at the time. This was probably my third kit ever.Small_Sailboat_01.jpg

What do you call that rig? I believe it’s called a “sprit rig”. The mast is set forward like a catboat, and the gaff-like “sprit” acts as a tensioner on the peak of the trapzoidal sail - like a jib fitted with a club foot.

I have no clue. Surely someone will have an answer.
