I took a chance and bought a model on an online auction. It is a Blue Jacket mackerel seiner “Smuggler” circa 1995. Does anyone have any experience with this model. I couldn’t find any references on it in the search function on the website.

Unfortunately we do not have a building log of the Smuggler by BlueJacket, which seems to be not very often build.
Nevertheless it is looking like an interesting model kit


So maybe you could start a building log in order to make this nice ship more popular ....

The Ships in Scale magazine had a series of articles on a great model of this ship. That magazine is no longer published, but I think the Nautical Research Guild may be able to sell you back issues or CDs with many years of issues.
