I thought this was interesting. You need a 3-D printer, though.


 
Interesting idea Doc! I know I have several soldering irons in the house and tool kits. Use them all the time for Model Railroading work.
 
and what is the purpose of such a tool?
What can be done with it better? I have to small experience in this field, so I can not imagine in moment

One of the biggest problems in soldering very small parts together is getting them tight against each other. With the tweezer setup, the soldering irons clamp the parts together AND solder them. That’s the theory, anyway.
