Some of my model ships

Another beauty! I am still hoping to go back through your catalogue of posts to put a little bit of history to the ships.

For those interested:

SV Arethusa, built by Archibald McMillan & Son, Dumbarton and launched 2//11/1891, 230ft, 1279 grt. She had a reasonably long life at sea but met her end when she was captured by the German submarine UC.66 on the 23/4/1917, 15 miles NW from Eagle Island Light House off Western Ireland at 54.23N., 10.30W whilst on a voyage from Gulfport with pitch pine for Clyde. She was then sunk with explosives.
Sad end for such a beautiful ship.
