Не смог создать новую тему, что я плохо в компьютерах.
Собрался исполнить давнюю мечту. Пароход-фрегат с колесным движителем.

I'm going to fulfill an old dream. The steamer is a frigate with a wheeled propulsion.

Gulnara - 1/50 scale construction of a side steam ship

Aviso of the Sardinian Navy. Built in 1834 in England and in the service in 1835 placed in the Navy of Sardinia, the Gulnara is a typical example of the Transition from sailing ship to steamship. The steam engine was at this Ship only as pure auxiliary drive. The ship was still full sailable.
As an observation, escort and passenger ship, the Gulnara did service for Sardinia until 1861. Then it was taken over by the Italian Navy. The Gulnara was with an oscillating steam engine from Fawcett & Preston, Liverpool, equipped. Part of the bike shovels could be sailed on ride to swive up to reduce the driving resistance.

Приветствую, Игорь. Помощь нашего разума может превратить Вашу модель в нашу. Мы можем помочь вам в сборке модели, но как должна выглядеть ваша модель - исключительно Ваш выбор. А как Вам больше нравиться: покрашенный или деревянный корпус? Достаточно ли у вас навыка в покраске, есть ли соответственный инструмент\оборудование? Освещение требует навыков электропроводки, и дополнительных затрат, к тому же, при проводке провода, нужно учитывать конструкцию набора, так ка любое изменение может в дальнейшем создать проблемы, Вы готовы? Улучшить сборку при желании всегда можно, вопрос какие именно части и детали нуждаются в улучшении? Блоки в наборах, практически всегда можно заменить, если это на наборы Мастер корабел или Фальконет. Может кто-то из форумчан уже собирал эту модель и может подсказать как и что? Удачи в сборке!

Thanks for the reply. This is not the first model, you can verify this on this site. I have not found a single picture in the color of the ships of the Sardinian navy. So I'm asking you. Процесс пошел. Почти закончил первый слой обшивки. Есть ошибки чертежей, но это решается внимательностью и проработки плана строительства. Определился с цветами и схемой окраски. От электрификации пришлось отказаться, после анализа конструкции и мест применения фонарей. Работа не стоит того. Все по плану.

I have decided on the colors and the color scheme. After analyzing the design and places of use of the lanterns, electrification had to be abandoned. The job is not worth it. Everything is going according to plan.

Закрытие очередного этапа. Чистовая обшивка корпуса модели. Подобрал планки в основном по оттенкам цвета. Затем очень захотел сделать ватерлинию. Следующий шаг тонировать подводную часть, может и получилось не так как хотелось, решил так и оставить ( покрыть лаком потом , как высохнет).
Для киля модели сделал коробок, не поддался на уговоры инструкции.
Closing of the next stage. Finishing of the model body. I picked up the bars mainly according to the shades of color. Then I really wanted to make a waterline. The next step is to tint the underwater part, maybe it didn't work out the way I wanted, I decided to leave it that way (to varnish it later, as it dries).
I made boxes for the keel of the model, I did not succumb to the persuasions of the instructions.

Сложно остановиться и сделать фото, хочется что то законченное показать.
Как видите концепция окраски изменилась. Предыдущая версия тонирования меня не удовлетворила качеством, не смог довести корпус до приемлемой частоты. И родился подход по цветовой гамме, все цвета с флага страны. Но не могут быть сардинцы быть скучными.
Пришлось конечно помучиться с исправлениями несоответствий разных чертежей и моих ошибок, как то справляюсь. Конечно присутствуют улучшения, это по моему мнению и решению.

As you can see, the concept of coloring has changed. The previous version of the tinting did not satisfy me with the quality, I could not bring the case to an acceptable frequency. And the color scheme approach was born, all the colors from the country's flag. But Sardinians can't be boring.
Of course, I had to suffer with correcting inconsistencies in different drawings and my mistakes, somehow I cope. Of course, there are improvements, this is in my opinion and decision.
