Starting the willie bennett skipjack, are the molds in the model as jig or or what, i'm totally confused. HELP

starting model willie bennett skipjack are the molds the same as the sheet that is marked hull jigs or what, I'm totally confused.Help

I wonder if they would take this kit back

I'm trying to find what wood to use for the stern post, is it several pieces glued together, drawing shows a nail attached to the piece, there are no nails this small. I have a bag full of all kind of wood....
