Hi all

Without entering now to discuss the Statenjacht origins I wanted to show the kit. I will discuss all what I have collected about Statenjachts and this ship in my future log that I expect to start in a couple of weeks.

I still have to take pictures of Plans and instruction Manual. Later in the day those will be posted.

All is Peer Wood, also the carvings.

Unfortunately the pictures don't show very well how nice the carvings are. But zoom some and you will be able to see the details.

Kit ordered from ZHL MODEL. 4 days after I order the kit it was shipped and yesterday arrived. Total 9 days since the order. Thank you Max !!!

Here we go. Later in the day a few more.

I did an careful inventory and all carving pieces, based on the inventory list/drawings were in the kit. Good !!!! Nothing missing.

Got it. Your Pegasus is awesome and has some fantastic wood work, Still looking forward to you build.

I just finished the Marmara and i want to reorganize the shop as I will have to do many pieces from scratch. In 1-2 weeks I will start the building log.

BTW, I also followed your Dakkar building log and the job you did was amazing.

Cheers
Daniel

Thanks Daniel. That was a fun one to do. Like something different now and then.

Hi Daniel,

Love this kit, it has such lovely details. If it existed or not or if it is fully correct to me is not that interesting as this is just a stunning model, which will be a show piece when finished. It is definately looking like a Dutch style yacht for the nouveau riche of the period. Looking forward to your build.
