Stropping Two blocks together

Anyone able to advise me on how to do this?
I am sure I read it somewhere but neither I, nor google, can find anything helpful

Bob Hunt includes a video of his technique in his practicum for Fair American. Probably in his other practica as well, or you might PM him @lauckstreet and ask if he would share it. It’s copyrighted, so I can’t share it myself.

I use what I call a figure 8 method. You form two loops in a figure 8 pattern and clamp one end in your helping hands. Then you seize the two loops in the middle. If you go to my YouTube page there’s a video on how I do this.
