Kit review Syren US Brig - Model Shipways Scale 1:64

According to Carlos The Syren is one of the most popular selling model from their collection.
Every time I open one if their model, I just love to see their instruction’s book with the color pictures.
To me they are an excellent tool to guide you throughout the build, or at least give you an idea which way to go.00D8ACA3-CBF2-4F3E-9331-A408B1DABDD3.jpeg

Next will be lots of reference pictures from the model they have in their showcase.
Please don’t be so excruciating about it small flaws. Keep in mind this model gets handle a lot for different reasons.
I offered myself to go one day and fix as much as can to all of their showcase models.

That’s all folks.
Let me know what would like to see next from Model Shipways and I will dedicate some time to go over and shoot more pictures.

I guess I’m improving on my pictures. But I’m working on a bigger and better Shot Box with the help and ideas from Donnie’s “Shot Box forum”.
Thank You Donnie.
Get well soon.

Many thanks for your review. I am sure it will help others when they will make their decisions Thumbs-Up

The Connie is one of my favorites, and Donnie says they have a good kit of her.

If you get spare time.
Yes I agreed .
As a matter of fact, when I was there yesterday we were talking about it.
Carlos said that after the Syren, the Connie is their second best seller but is a very complicated kit to put together and that they were working to bring her up for production soon.

Thank you all.
I’m glad you guys like it. Also I have to thank Carlos for letting me his flood lights for the shot box.

Love to see the Charles Morgan

Yes, very nice whaler.
Charles W. Morgan caught and processed more whales than any other whaling ship in history.
Let’s see if other guys agreed with this choice and I’ll do it tomorrow.

WOW
After this video there is no doubt I’ll go to Model Expo tomorrow and I’ll do a review on it.
They have an excellent built model there.
You guys will have plenty of pictures as reference.

see if they have a built model of the new cross section kit for the Connie, if you can get some pics id appreciate it...moved from miami in july and they were shut down and not allowing visitors...so didnt get a chance to go by there. Working on the syren still and the cross section kit is on top of my list
